I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by myself. This is the 7th and final book in the Harry Potter series. It was a really exciting book, and I could not put it down! Now that I'm finished with the series I'm sad and I don't know what I'm going to do with myself, or what I will read next.

The Hobbit
Dad finished reading J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit to me on our last weekend of the year at the bungalow. It took us a long time, because of the other books we were reading. We'll probably read The Lord of the Rings next, or maybe we'll try The Silmarillion first.

The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey
I finished reading The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey to my dad. This is the second book in The Mysterious Benedict Society series. Eason read it a couple of years ago and recommended it. I loved it! It was exciting and had many different types of adventures in it and all of them led up to one big journey. My favorite part of it was when Captain Noland gave Reynie the fake diamond in his cabin. Mr. Curtain was back even worse than before. He will probably be almost unbeatable in the next book. I wonder if Mr. Benedicts's narcolepsy is ever going to be cured. I can't wait to read the third book in the series: The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner's Dilemma.

2nd Grade Writing Celebration
I had a great time at 2T's Writing Celebration! My mom came to school and I showed her all of my writing pieces and I got to sit on her lap and read them to her. We took pictures for my dad to see. I even figured out a way to hold up the flaps for my Fairy Tale Elements so that my mom could take a picture of the elements of Stone Soup. I loved the 2015 2T Writing Celebration!

Letter To School
We had to write a letter to our principal and vice principal persuading them to make school better. This was my letter:
Dear Mrs. Garcia and Mr. Walley,
Osborn is a great school, but it would be even better if you let people do their homework at school. One reason is, if I did my homework at school then I would exercise at home and have stronger muscles. Another reason is, I would be better at time management because I would at least start my homework and I won't get distracted. Finally, if I don't have to stay up late finishing homework and will sleep enough that I will be awake the next day. Osborn will be a better school if you let children do their homework at school.

Green Belt
I was promoted to green belt at Steve Sohn's Krav Maga World Wide Training and Fitness Center.
I have been training since I was four years old, and I really like training there. My best technique is my right leg round house kick, and I also like the liver-hook-cross.

The Long Winter
I finished reading The Long Winter (Little House, #6) by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I read the whole book aloud to my dad. It was cool reading this book while we were having all the snow storms this winter. Now that I'm done I hope it gets warmer, and the winter doesn't last until April like it did in the story.
Next I want to read Little Town on the Prairie, but I might take a break from this series.
I also read these other books from school:
