I finished reading The Long Winter (Little House, #6) by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I read the whole book aloud to my dad. It was cool reading this book while we were having all the snow storms this winter. Now that I'm done I hope it gets warmer, and the winter doesn't last until April like it did in the story.
Next I want to read Little Town on the Prairie, but I might take a break from this series.
I also read these other books from school:
• Who was Sacagawea? by Judith Bloom Fradin and Dennis Brindell Fradin
• Who was Albert Einstein? by Jess M. Brallier
• Robin Hood by Neil Philip
• Greek Gods and Heroes by Alice Low

I'm not a big fan of this series, but it was cool reading this while we were in the middle of our own snow storms. I'm glad we finished it as soon as we did.
ReplyDeleteGood reading. I like the Who Was biographies too. Day of the Blizzard is another book to read during a storm. It is based on a terrible storm in 1888 (or something like that).
ReplyDeleteNow she's reading Who Is Harry Houdini. She's read of bunch of them.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping we're done with any winter storm appropriate reading.
